On-location, Professional Photographer

For over a decade I have been working as an on-location photographer specializing in technically challenging shoots. At serious odds with todays point and shoot world, this tends to require a bit more thought. Its timing, planning, propping, calculating exposure ranges, real and desired, and composing the view thru a 4"x5" field which displays everything upside down and backwards.

While I have been doing some more digital work lately, the way of the 4x5, where everything is manual and tweakable, has left a mark on how I apporach images. People who just think, oh, fix it in photoshop, miss so much of the fun.
