Craig Horsfield is a brave man with a bold dream. He wants to race across an ocean on a 21 foot boat solo. He's not the only one this crazy. It is a race. There are a few others like him. Ok, I think he's a little crazy but I admire him and think he has a great deal of talent. This scope of task is not for the weak of talent, spirit, stamina, or...budget. Its quite expensive to race a mini transat so Craig hired bevdidit to create a presence online and hopefully help generate some support and funding.

Scope: My task was to create the look and feel and set up a CSS based framework and HTML coding which he could easily update himself. I also created the logo, the header images, the range of page layouts to work with, and various graphic elements. It needed to be created in such a way that he could just jump in and change things.

As you can see there is a range of formats for the different areas. with photo albums imbedded into the page in some areas.

This was a very enjoyable project to work on. Even if Craig was a bad influence. I joke he is crazy but in part of my doing research for this site, I was given a couple sites as examples of what he liked and didn't like. Remembering looking thru some of those sites, two words come to mind, cat and catnip. One of the sites had a video clip for another single handed boat which I now covet, namely, the Flying Moth. If you have never seen one, you might want to check it out. Has anyone read this far?
